Ian Brener

Brief Biography / CV:
Ian Brener is a specialist in Period Movement and Dance. He has been the choreographer and movement director for many shows such as A Patriot for Me, The Doll's House, Double Deceit and The Dark of the Moon for the Actor's Company. He also trained as aclassical singer and has choreographed a number of operas including Dido and Aeneas (Purcell Room) and King Arthur (Holywell Music Room).

He has choreographed final year shows for various drama schools including Women beware Women (Mill Studio, Guildford), A Laughing Matter (Pleasance Theatre) and A Country Wife (Embassy Theatre).

He choreographed for BBC television a live outside broadcast for Blue Peter and The Map Room.

Ian teaches period movement at the Royal College of Music, London, Guildford School of Acting, Mountview Academy, Central School of Speech and Drama and at the Oxford School of Drama.
