The Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People)
Learning From Experience:
A FREE EVENT FOR DANCE ARTISTS, EMPLOYERS AND ORGANISATIONS
RSVP BY 13TH JANUARY.
The Diploma for Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People) (DDTAL) is a new benchmark qualification designed by the dance industry for the dance industry.
Following a successful pilot project, Youth Dance England invites you to a free one-day event where, for the first time, candidates who have taken the Diploma, and organisations who provide training or employ DDTAL graduates, will share their experiences first-hand.
Dance artists/practitioners, employers, and dance organisations – this event is for you to better understand what this major development means for your work.
“As an employer I’d like to know the benefits of hiring someone with the DDTAL qualification”
“I’m a dance artist looking to increase my skill-set and employability – what would DDTAL mean for me?”
“My organisation is thinking of becoming a DDTAL training provider – but we’d like to understand more about what that would mean.”
What will the day involve?
Following an introduction to the Qualification, the programme will include a session presenting case studies and testimonies from candidates and employers alike. The afternoon will involve break-out sessions delving into the distinct experiences of training providers, artists taking the Qualification, and employers.
