YDE Young Creatives 2013 - Applications open

A programme for young choreographers

Young Dance England has launched a programme for young choreographers aged between 15 and 19 years old to develop their skills in creating dance.

YDE Young Creatives provides unique training for a dozen young choreographers each year, pairing each participant up with a professional choreographer to mentor you through a three-month period, and offering residential sessions in London to boost your skills in creating dance, understanding lighting and technical requirements on stage, rehearsing with your dancers and getting ready for a big première of your work at the Royal Opera House.

Participants can be working in any dance style from breakin’ to contemporary, ballet, Kathak, or a combination.
