Distribution for Dance Works: Getting Your Work Seen
A seminar organised by Dance UK in association with the Independent Dance Managers Network (IDMN) as part of The Business of Dance training programme

*NB: All attendees will need a ticket to get into The Royal Opera House. All those who book tickets before Thursday 23rd May will receive their tickets via post. Those who book after Thursday 23rd May will need to collect their ticket from Dance UK staff on the door.
The session will look
at and discuss the variety of methods and models for distributing dance works,
including traditional venue touring, festivals, online distribution, commercial
contexts and collaborations. The seminar will feature a panel of speakers,
including Joe
Bates, Chair of the Independent Dance Managers
Network,Tamsin Ace, Performance and Dance Programmer from the Southbank Centre,Adrienne Hart, Director of Neon Dance, Kenrick 'H20' Sandy and Michael 'Mikey J' Assante from Boy Blue Entertainment. All these professionals will share their
wide range of experience and knowledge in various forms of distribution and
touring in the UK
and internationally.
This will be a useful session for dance
artists, choreographers, managers or artistic collaborators who want to get
their work seen, whether by traditional touring or through new models of
distribution.
