Joining the directory

To join, you should have some previous experience of working in the arts and entertainment industries, and as broad a range of skills as possible. We are happy to advise you individually, just email Alice Firth at alice@danceuk.org or call her on 020 7713 0730.

Your UKCD listing will detail the styles of dance and contexts you are working in, as well as providing contact details and a list of production credits.

The annual subscription fee for the UKCD is currently £40 plus £25 for the Dance UK membership. As we are a non-profitmaking organisation. All money received in this way goes back into Dance UK's work supporting choreographers and dancers.

You must first join Dance UK as a member, then you can join UKCD to be listed online. Once you have joined, we will put you forward for appropriate jobs and prospective producers will contact you directly.

Step one- join Dance UK

The UKCD is open to Dance UK members only.

Step two - send us your CV

This will be reviewed by Alice Firth who manages the directory. She will then call you and discuss your suitability for the service.

Step three - pay your fee

Once Alice and yourself have decided that you will benefit from the service then you will be required to pay your yearly membership fee of £40 and fill out your choreographer profile for display online.

If you are already a member of Dance UK, you may join the UKCD and fill in your choreographer profile online by logging in to the members' area here: https://www.danceuk.org/login/.
