<p>Dance UK is a nationally recognised support and development organisation for dance, formed in 1982 in response to a demand from many parts of the profession to find a unified voice to speak and take action on its behalf.
Dance UK campaigns on behalf of the profession, organises seminars, meetings and conferences to bring together professionals and experts in national and international dance, liaises with other artforms and professions and offers services, information and advice to its members.
Currently Dance UK's membership comprises over 130 dance companies, venues and organisations and around 600 individual dance artists, choreographers, administrators, technicians, teachers and members of the audience who represent all styles of dance.
